To be exempt under Internal Revenue Code section 501(c)(6), the members of a business league must have a common business interest.

Principally the Council Exchange Board of Trade promotes better business methods and, through research and standards, encourages uniformity and cooperation among members.  


Procurement and Partnership Innovation

 The Exchange has established and maintains the integrity of the minority technology industry through government and community relationships.  The Exchange promotes and codifies this common business interest through research in procurement and partnership innovation for the benefit of the entire minority technology industry and to the communities they serve.
